今天晚上看的是sydney v st kilda。因为要走了，所以这两个星期要多做些以后一年里不能再做的事情（比如說afl）。
本來說好了看完比賽要和朋友去喝酒的，問題是大傢吃完飯又聊了一下以后好像都沒有什么精力再繼續下去了，所以只好自己囬傢喝。反正還有些啤酒，一些tequila和一瓶朋友送的drambuie。開冰箱一看，啤酒只有一瓶了，而且已經買了很久了，正好喝掉。平時每次6 pack喝完以后都會再去買一份，不過這次突然想起來：再過兩個多星期就要走了，用不着再去買了

got back from melbourne on the weekend. even though it wasn't the first time i caught a plane, i saw something that took my breath away. as we reached the end of the trip and the plane began its first stage of descent, we stayed momentarily just above a sea of thick white clouds.
the sun was also beginning to set, casting a golden glow over the clouds
....

i seem to be going a lot by what david and margaret's reviews these days and this was another movie that i decided to see based on their review alone.
(and i'm yet to be majorly disappointed by their reviews so far. i guess some people always say that you can't just listen to critics' words, and that you should make up your own mind. which is true, but with so many movies out there, it's really impossible to see them all
....

finally managed to get a copy of stranger than fiction, and it was certainly much anticipated, based on some favourable reviews from a few friends. but of course, even without any positive feedback i'd still have wanted to see it because it just seemed so interesting. and of course, there are so many parallels between this film and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, which is one of my favourites and i was just curious to see if it was as good a film
....

so i'm sitting here, 2:59am in the morning, preparing for an exam later today, and what do i hear? some kid in my neighbourhood giving his vocal chords a full workout. i know it's not very nice, but i really wish he'd shut the fuck up right about now. i'm not in the most understanding of mood right this moment, and i make no apologies for it. as gordon ramsay would say, fucking hell!

another week, another chick flick. saw the trailer for this before 27 dresses and it looked quite interesting and different. and no one loves different more than i do, so i immediately made up my mind that i wanted to see it

was watching this story a while back on foreign correspondent. the piece itself was about taiwanese politics, and it was quite interesting really, as i usually find stories on foreign correspondent

easily the best movie i've seen this year. there, i've said it. don't think i've seen too many new films this year anyway so i'm fairly certain this one will take the cake, although there is darjeeling limited to come around xmas, but after the life aquatic, i'm not going to expect too much
....
